Quote for Today:   “Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence. Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance.  Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence.  Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.”  Yoko Ono

Summer,CM Bowen Author, The Writing Life

Today is the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. The day of the solstice has the longest period of sunlight in the calendar year. The lazy days of Summer time are here at last.  I have to admit to longing for the changes of the season.  I can spend hours admiring the beauty of nature outside my window as I work on my writing or enjoy outdoor events that can only be found in the Summer months.  What are some of your favorite things to do?

Check out this young adult fiction for a summer reading adventure. Cross-Ties
